From ambience to food to service to hosts (Kajal & Atharva) everything was exceptional and doesn’t even make you miss India. Loved the taste. Would recommend you having their newly updated menu. Kajal made us try their dahipuri which obviously makes a burst of flavours in your mouth; kali mari chicken tikka, smoked butter chicken, garlic & tandoori naan. Missing India? Such an incredible gesture by Mr. Ravneet!!

My wife and I walked into the restaurant today without realizing that it was closed. As we stepped in, we met the owner of the restaurant, Mr. Ravneet. He was busy on a call with somebody and said the restaurant was closed and would open up at 5pm. We said sorry and about to leave the place, then he suddenly asked us if we were feeling hungry?

After a small pause, we both said, Yes!

He then asked us to have a seat and said, the food was on the house and he brought us two AMAZING DISHES - Paneer Lababdar and Dal Makhani and with steam rice.

I must say, the food was really AMAZING!

I am not saying for the sake of saying that, but trust me, I have never had such food taste in the last 5 years in Toronto and GTA. The taste was completely authentic!

Not only Mr. Ravneet showed such a great gesture by offering us food even when the restaurant was closed, he did showed a great hospitality!! Felt like home!!

As the name of the restaurant says ‘Barkat’, which means, “blessing” or “prosperity”. I must say, this place justified that with such a  great gesture, hospitality and taste!!

Amazing food with lovely service. We had a pleasure to be served by Mohit who took really good care of us. We came to the restaurant really hungry and Mohit offered us with a complimentary appetizer in the beginning for us to get comfortable. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The team is so incredibly warm, personable and friendly, and both the food and atmosphere feel like a warm hug!
